Our castle is ideally located close to cycling paths, allowing you to explore Beaune, Chalon-sur-Saône, Santenay, or the Bresse Bourguignonne. You can thus discover the vineyards and charming villages of the Côte Chalonnaise and Côte de Beaune through numerous cycling routes. CHAGNY

The Saint-Martin church, with its Romanesque-Gothic style, is topped with a richly pierced bell tower, which impressed Victor Hugo: "There is in Chagny a remarkable Romanesque bell tower, square, broad, squat, superb!"

The hospital apothecary, created in 1715, remains in its original state.

The Sparta Gallery, a contemporary art site that was present at the FIAC in Paris.

CHALON-SUR-SAÔNE

The town has seen the birth of two unique personalities:

Vivant Denon, the first director of the Louvre Museum, and Nicéphore Niépce, the inventor of the first photographic process.

The Château de Savigny-lès-Beaune, located just a few minutes from Beaune, is a must-visit during your stay at Château de Bellecroix. You will discover an exceptional collection of 80 fighter planes, 35 Abarth racing cars, 200 motorcycles, 30 tractor units, 30 fire trucks, 1 hovercraft, 8000 models, as well as the Aerospace Museum and the Vine and Wine Equipment Museum. After the visit, you can taste the wines from their Les Caves de l'Orangerie winery, where a precious collection of famous wines such as Volnay, Pommard, Meursault, Monthélie, and Savigny-lès-Beaune awaits you.
